FIRST DAY TO REQUEST ABSENTEE BALLOT

Online mail-in absentee request portal:

If you do not have access to a computer, you may call the Adair County Clerk’s Office, during normal business days, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 270-384-2801. Be prepared to provide requested information.

Ballots can be returned by:

Mail, or Dropped in the Ballot Drop Box located in the Clerk’s Office, Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
First and Third Saturdays: 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Election Day 11/5/24: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Voter must have one of the designated reasons to request an Absentee Ballot.
Ballots must be returned by 6:00 pm, Election Day, November 5, 2024

Qualified voters may make application to cast an absentee in person ballot during normal business hours (8:00am to 4:00pm).
Must have one of the designated reasons provided in (KRS 117.076(2) to cast a ballot during this period.
Must have proof of ID.

Any voter who is qualified to vote on election day in the county of his or her residence may choose to cast a no-excuse in person absentee ballot on Thursday, Friday or Saturday immediately preceding the day of an election from 8:00 AM to 4:00 pm.

Adair County Courthouse Annex Basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia, Come in front doors go straight ahead; may take elevator or steps to the basement. Must provide proof of ID.
